Education

Education is addressed here by developing multilingual communication solutions to help people speaking different Indian languages by opening a multilingual communication channel and a virtual class room.
Projects:

Vaartalaap
This project aims to develop a solution that will cater to the communication needs of people speaking different languages. Vartalaap has two core features namely MCC(Multilingual Communication Channel) and VC(Virtual Classroom). These features will enable people to communicate in their native language and participate in a virtual classroom. It will also support multimedia collaboration along with logging and flexible replay of the session proceedings. The Multilingual Communication Channel is a facility using which users will be able to communicate employing various media such as text, picture and voice. The Virtual Classroom is a simulation of a real-world classroom and provides teaching and learning environment within a computer-mediated communication system.
